Hey all,
I got a male maroon clown fish that has started digging under one of my figi rocks. Usually, he is out and about swimming throughout the tank. I just noticed this morning his new behavior. I have brislte worms in the same rock he is digging under. Is is safe to say that he's looking for that, although, not the smartest idea. At one point he almost looked like he was fighting with something?
Inaddition, there is a female maroon in the tank. Are they preparing to breed? And one more thing, when he's not digging, he's laying on the bottom almost completely up-side-down. He does swim just fine when I taunted him with food.
The only new addition that I have added is a frogspawn (which is doing great) and a 18watt light instead of the original 9watt. I have cut down the run time hours to slowly get everyone used to it. My corals love it, but my clowns tend to look for shade.
