High Alk

I am switching over to a calcium reactor (knop c) and last test my alk was high and calcium around 300. How long should I give it to equalize..its been running about 6 weeks now. What can I do to bring it in balance.

Bring it in balance with water changes and/or dosing the calcium part of a 2part additive ..
