high calcium levels

so.. after finally ballancing my chemistry and my CA reactor, my ca was thrown offballance by a water change with some old salt..
It is now off the charts....

with new salfiert kits...

CA 500+ [the test kits was just starting to turn when the tube ran out.. so I expect it is 500-530

alk 8.6

I am turning the reactor off for a day or two, and dosing alk.
but do you guys know how bad it is to run calcium levels that high?

mine usually runs a little high as well...i think as long as you keep your alk up your fine, but what do i know.

Not that bad, high alk is what you have to worry about.

I agree that it won't hurt anything at that level.
