I've been checking my ca with Reef Status test kit that gave me 425-450 ppm and now I've checked it with Saliferts and it gives me a reading of 620 ppm.
My dkh 11.
What shoud I do to correct the Ca ?
Thanks

First, you'd need to have confidence that the Salifert kit was more likely to be correct than the Reef Status.

What salt are you using, and what do these kits read on it?
if it is high, just maintain alkalinity and let the calcium decline on its own:

I'm using Tropic Marine pro.
I'm not sure what you mean by "what do these kits read on it)
Thanks

What do the tests read on some freshly-mixed saltwater? That might give an indication of which one is correct.

I just made a test on a batch saltwater I made yesterday and it reads 500 ppm.

I threw the reef status before testing my reserve :-( thinking it wasn't any good jeezzzz
Anyway I'll have to check with Tropic Marine and see what the ca is .
The sg is 1.026.

Maybe but I'll get a confirmation from them and I'll post it here.

If my Salifert is true then I've been adding Randy's two part mix excessively due to a bad Reef Status test.
