So far everyone is wondering about this stuff, it seems like no one knows anything about it, it is supposed to be opening up in Stark County very soon, and there was an ad in the Repository about them hiring now and they are taking resumes and applications right now, i will have to get the add as i was just told about it but what does anyone know about this?!?!

i guess one of the guys at petco saw it in the classifieds and said he was asking everyone that came in about it and it did say soon in the ad, he said that it stated it was going to be a "high" end saltwater store and all it said in the ad was that it would open soon and to put their resume in a P.O. Box with a massillon mailing address

More info please!!!

Are there any good shops in Stark/Summit Co? Or nearby wthout driving to Cleveland/Vermillon?

Wahoooooo!!!! My 1st post

He doesnt know any more about it that what has been said here already, he will let me know if he finds out anymore details

ReefFreaks,

only 2 that are small but might be worthwhile, nothing compared to Saltycritter.

Coral Reefs
194 Killian RD akron

Two Turtles
760 West Market St. Akron

heard the same thing too about this "store" There use to be a mom and pop out of massillon that had superior saltwater but went out...would be nice if it was them, they knew their stuff and the prices were very fair...

..maybe Captain Larry's is branching out in Stark County????
Probably call it "Bikini Bottom Salt Water"

coral reefs wasnt looking too good last time when i was there, i wasnt very impressed from when i used to go there and from what i hear its the same with 2 turtles, i am still trying to find more info on this store but still nothing has come up

Two turtles seems to be picking up a bit lately. They've been getting more regular shipments and some more corals and such. However, they are definately not in the same league as Salty Critter. Of course, I live within walking distance of Two Turtles and an hour driving distance of Salty. I would kill for such a store in the Akron area... but if there was one I would definately be broke!

i met the guy who wants to do this, didnt get his name tho. not the same people from the old store, but he wants it to be along the same lines. right now he is looking for the right people to work for him. he said he was looking at 3 leases in the massillon area. thats all i know. hope to find out more.

Pete who had Byerlys in Columbus said he was going to open a saltwater only store somewhere in stark county but thats all I know.
