I stop the return pump and the power heads when I spotfeed SPS. I turn the power heads back on after 5-10 min and the return pump after 30 min (timer).

Spot feeding sps, you cant spot feed sps. Alot of people dont have that many fish, if so then fish pop yes or dosing trace elements and supplements is the only way to feed or have some trates in your tank , and it dosnt matter if the pumps are on or off.

When feeding my fish Rod's, there is a small amount of fine particulate of food that seems to feed mine. I turn off all pumps for 15 mins while they eat. (Including the SPS) Plump and extended polyps are a good sign!

I just think that you can help them improve the chances of fine particulate capture by reducing water flow during feeding. Regardless if you spot feed SPS micro foods or during fish feeding.

The difference here is in the wild there is an infinite amount of food wizing by, all the time. Not so in our enclosed worlds.

I feed live rotifers and live baby brine shrimps (under 4 hours from hatching) alternating. I use a turkey baster and make a cloud of food around the coral.

feeding live seems to be the best, but it seems like alot of work and skill to do it optimaly. i was thinkin about doing trhat, but i dont know if im thaty commited or have knolege to do that.

It is very easy to grow rotifers. It is true that you have to grow phyto for that. I grow tetraselmis and nannochloropsis to feed rotifers. Hatching BBS is also very easy, you don't have to feed them

No, you can see them swiming and they are pinkish orange. The eggs are brown.
