High ORP

My ORP has recently elevated to about 500 +- 20. This seems a bit high and triggered my high alarm, resulting in a string of pages during lunch last week.

I run a skimmer, a CA reactor, no ozone or any ORP escalating things.

Tank looks ok.

Is this reasonable? Thanks,

Clean the probe with a soft-bristled toothbrush to remove the biofilm. The biofilm can cause a high reading. Also if you have pH compensation turned on then shut it off so that your reading is 'industry standard'.
