High phosphates | corals thriving

Hey guys my phosphates are currently super high, my corals seem to be
Growing like crazy and my colours are amazing, i have many possible ways
To lower the phosphate, but should i do so? The reason my po4 has risen
Is due to the addition of more live rock and harvesting all my chaeto at the
Same time leaving only a small ball. What do you guys think? If its not broken
Dont fix it? Also the only ill effect i have is a tiny patch of cyano, i think as the
Rock matures and my chaeto grows back it will sort itself out anyway.

Dkh: 9
Calcium: 450
Magnesium: 1320
Nitrate: 0.25 (less than 1ppm)
Phosphate: .5
Ph: 8-8.4
Salinity: 1.026
Temp: 78-80

If you have seen a positive effect on your corals maybe you should keep po4 at that level.

I agree with others, if turn positive, no immediately change need, but closely monitor them could be necessary.

I left a picture in the post, i am not very good at posting on forums, so far 3 weeks with high phosphates and the only negative is a 1” patch of cyano. Will decide in the next few days if i will go ahead and gradually lower them.

I am in the same boat. Was keeping sps and nems at low numbers close to zero. Following trends isn't for everyone. I have raised nitrates and phosphates . Tank looks much better also. Back in the days of old we didn't have all the fancy ways to keep these numbers low why know.

My theory when high NP do better to a tank usually tank water currents and turbulence aren't perfect condition, so real food hard to get to coral, but highly NP means nutrition all around water column so coral will be happier, but I won't keep it long this way. I will try to improve turbulence to ensure coral food deliver to coral multiple times per day.
