Hello I've got super high tin reading on my icp test. No other metals. The reading is Tin 148 µg/l, where would this be coming from? I cant see anything obvious, thanks.

I was having the same problem a while back and after much research, I came across fellow reefers informing me that it was coming from my PVC pipes/plumbing.
Apparently, it has to do with the way extruded tubing, such as PVC pipes, are manufactured. It might help for you to research further into extrusion coating and the like. Tin stabilizers play an important part in the production of PVC due to the high heat and stress imposed on PVC products during manufacturing.

states that no organotin (Tin) stabilizers are a health concern for PVC pipe used in drinking water systems and how there are health regulations regarding chemicals migrating from products that come into contact with potable water, however, there is no mention of PVC and its possible effects when dealing with saltwater.
