Hinges for Hood Doors

I'm looking for hinges for the doors for the front of my hood. Actually, cabinet hinges are already installed, so what I am looking for is hinges that lock open to hold the doors up... or some other kind of mechanism for keeping the doors open. The doors hinge at the top and swing up from the bottom. Ideas?

I think I've seen hinges before that open and lock in place. Then, to get them to close, you push them back up and they unlock. Anyone know where to get something like that.

I think pneumatic things might work (for holding trunks open), but I'm not sure how I'd mount them and I think the vast majority of those would be too strong.

What do y'all use? I'm very tired of holding them up with my head.

Chris - Thanks for the links. They look pretty good (especially the gas ones) but the throw length is a bit long for the width of the doors... they might barely fit. Problem is, they are pretty expensive and I'd need 3 sets...

I was just looking at these:

I can get all 3 for $25 shipped, which seems pretty decent to me. Anyone use them? Any reason they wouldn't work? I don't know how well they'd hold up, but I'm venting my hood pretty good now and at that price I can afford to replace them every couple of years if need be (in my experience almost all tank hardware gets nasty in that amount of time anyway because most hinges aren't coated/sealed).

Those hinges on the 3rd link in CKreef post looks like exactly what I am looking for. Do you think i would need one or two on a hood for a 12gallon. probably safer to get two huh?

Norm, couldn't find anything there, but maybe I'm looking in the wrong place...

Turtle, no idea... do they have weights listed in the specs?

Sorry Brian, that is just where I look first for items like that. Guess they don't carry everything,.....But the should:)
