Hippo Showing Signs of Ich!

There is a reef safe treatment, Kick ich. It is a two week treatment wich allows the ich to be treated in the protozoan(dinospores) stage. If you only treat the fish you still have the "free swimmers" still in your tank. Then when you put your fish back into your tank it will probably have ich again in 1- 1 1/2weekslater. Although, if it is a major infestation. Treat the fish in ht and treat the tank. If you have acess to any reference material there is a section in the Marine Aquarim Handbook By Martin A. Moe Jr. that describes the life cycle of ich and how to treat. Personaly I am using kick ich in my reef tank and everything is ok. Swiched tanks two weeks ago and stressed out the fish. Good luck, Ernie

This is what I had thought about....Using somehing in QT and using the dosage of Kick ICH to ensure no other fish in DT catch the ICH and that they disappear before all fish end up with it...Thanks Ernie!
