Hippopous Clams

Has anyone had a hippopous clam? What are their lighting needs and how hard are they to keep? I will have plenty of light in my new 37 tall but i want to keep it in my nano until it gets to big. I have 48 watts in a ten gallon would this be ok?

They have very low lighting needs. I've kept them in my sump just under an actinic PC for nutrient export.

The thing I like most about them is that coralline algae grows very well on their shell. Once completely covered, it contrasts very well with the mantle, making it quite attractive.
