Did you guys get an order of that dead rock put together recently?

I think it's called Hirock or something like that. A while back Wayne put together some HUGE order for it.

Did you guys do that again? Anybody know?
 
Fishin to fill that new tank? ;) Waynesworld will have to chime in if he has any left but he did have a ton of it, literally! last I heard he had some and everyone seems to like it. I have gotten some from him and am gonna get more when I get over his way. Looks very natural when its been in there awhile IMO.
 
I have been in contact with hirocks and will be getting a couple tons of it when he gets more in he only had a little and is selling it to the prem price as in the small boxes I would like to know how much everyone wants as I can get 3 tons too I may need a lot for the 2,000 gal monster in the house that is framed up allready.

Prem price I think was $1.40 a lb he was selling it on e-bay I think he may be out of that now as he was selling that last month but I get it for just under a $1 a lb and should have it this month.
 
Well let me know if you get some and have some extra. I don't really need that much. Maybe 50lb?
 
will do what sizes are you looking for I may have some still when I get things cleaned up I will see what I have.
 
The tank is framed in plywood and will be close to 2,000 gall it is a u shape tank with two 11-12' sides and a 10' side. It is viewable in the living room, hall way and the hottub room. Of course when I get it filled I will take donations as I will be broke from getting the equipment to run it.
 
No kidding. I am about to bankrupt myself just setting up a 240 (without using a credit card!).

I could take mostly anything but a few HUGE pieces would be great (or a couple of huge pieces). Smaller ones are ok too but I don't think I'd like rubble, if that's ok. I really just want it for base rock underneath what I've got now, but I can set this up with smaller ones if need be.
 
I had a huge one that would be great for a 240 like the one I had in my tank that got lost in the yard when we were moving things around I will try to find it. When are you coming our way again?
 
Not too sure but someone is going to be going back and forth soon because some of the Nashville guys are getting frags from me at some point soon. Either I will come there (in May) or someone will be going back and forth and I'll get them to hook up with you. I can pay you for some rocks ahead of time if need be though Wayne. Let me know if you find the giant one.

But I have a question. It's been sitting out in the yard?
 
I have a very large rock I got from Wayne at the frag swap I can send your way not sure of the weight-~20x10x10" if memory serves) if Wayne can't find the one he's looking for. We could swap for the frags I'm getting if that works... I'll wait to see if Wayne finds the one he's looking for, though.
 
Gary, I can probably take both of the rocks realistically. So we can work our trade that way if you'd like. Sounds like a nice sized rock too!

Wow that is big and it's one solid chunk too. Cool. I'll take it plus the big one I get from Wayne.

Will you still be ok with the straight trade? The frag of the pink and purple acro that I cut you is pretty much a monster, plus I made some fairly large RRGS. So LMK if that's ok.
