I just found in my fuge, what looks to be a baby short spine urchin. It has a black body with purple spines, and it's main body mass is about the size of a small marble. Of course, it could be a longspine, but the spines right now are only 100% length of it's body, not 250% like my monstrous long spine was. Do LS's start with shorter spines and get bigger or do they start with the overly long ones? My LS went through a few spawnings, but it was the only one, and i'm not sure if they reproduce asexualy, or if they retain being fertilized long after being with another, but could this possibly be an offspring of my old LS?
