hitch hickers just appeared.

I have had my reef tank up and runny about 18 months now. never had any problems with hitch hikers. Until now. I'm uploading a picture, of these growths that are appearing on all my LPS corals, and my Monti cap. I have also noticed them on some of my rock. Can you tell me what the growth is. And if I need to worry about it, also would it stunt the growth of my corals. Thanks for your help.

Its the small thin growth between the heads. These are starting to appear all over the tank.

They look kind of like Vermetid snails. Check this out.

thanks for that link. those are exactly what I have. I think they are irritating my corals. Any ideas what hermit crabs will feed on them?

Seal their tubes with epoxy or glue and it's a done deal.
