Hitch hiker pistol shrimp.

Well like the title says i have a hitch hiker pistol shrimp, and I hardly ever get to see him, he only pops half of his body out when I feed my fish. I would like to see him more. I have also bought a shrimp goby for him. The shrimp is always under the rock, which has a hole in it. my real question is, can I move the rock so he comes out so I can get him more used to being out, and not so scared of me? or is there a way I can get him out?

also, if I add another pistol shrimp will they fight?

If you move the rock he will just start another burrow. That is there thing. As he gets acclimated he should come out more w/ the assistance of the goby. I am not sure about adding another one.

I had a Watchman Goby first, then later got a Pistol Shrimp. My Goby used to hang out on far left of tank. When I put Pistol Shrimp in he went under a LR in middle of tank. After a week they found eachother, or should I say the Goby found the Pistol to pair up with, because they both hang out by LR Pistol went to when first put him in. Now they are never apart from one another. Fun to watch them. I wouldn't mess with the rock shrimp is under, he is probably digging his cave, then will start coming out on own when comfortable. This is when Goby will probably find him and pair up. Like I said it took about a week for mine to find one another.

Will the shrimp come out more often if the goby is paired up with him?
