Hitch Hiker Star ID?

I recently bought a couple of new corals attached to LR. After a few days I have seen one or two of these guys pictured. I am no genius but I assume they are Stars.... But what kind, good or bad, do I need to feed, etc... Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

So many species are virtually identical. If yours are not a problem that's great.

Seems like a lot of people who want to get rid of them use Harlequin shrimp so that's an option if they turn out to be a problem.

Since the Harlequin shrimp only eat star fish legs you can sell them back if you don't want to deal with maintaining their food supply.

If you don't want the shrimp then you can use tweezers. I have a feisty Maroon Clown so I'd go with the shrimp ;)

Ours was originally a beautifully perfect 6 arm specimen. Then it split one day and we had a pair of triangular starfish which was kind of interesting.

The species of Asterina I have is extremely slow to reproduce. I hear people complaining about these things overrunning their tanks but my experience couldn't be further from that.

I'll take them if you don't want the astrerina

I'm one of those people with the harlequin shrimp! Anyone wanting to get rid of them please let me know. I'll pay for shipping.
