Hitchhiked coral - ID help needed

Has been in the tank since I started. Expanding colony but I have no idea what genus it is. Anybody?

Hi there alex,

Thanks for the ID. I owned a green star polyp as shown on the right side of attached picture. This hitch hiker totally look different. Does GSP have different sub species?

I could be wrong, but they can look a little different based on waterflow, chemistry and lighting conditions. At least that's how I remeber them from back in the days.
I'm hoping someone can verify.

Yup. Hopefully someone can identify this coral. It looks like mini star polyp, but the base is totally different.

Looks like but without the tooth like base, i don't think it is. I had galaxea before but the feeders killed my acan. Donated to fellow reefers

Nope. I owned green & purple gonio. The hitch hiker looks like grass, short green tentacle with white centre. I will take macro shot using DSLR tonight.

Last shot lol. They look like these? Or are the 'tentacles' different? How may per polyp could also help.

Lol. You never know.. That gsp I had stopped growing and a different strain, more metallic and no white spot, grew over top of it.. Weird stuff!
That was also my favorite crab lol

looks more like blue sympodium than gsp.
however i dont believe it to be either.
probably some kind of clove polyp.

Had googled both sympodium & clove. Doesn't match either.

That last pic is not GSP. I suspect there is a skeleton of some sort and you can clearly see the individual mouths and polyp fingers unlike GSP.

Nope. Not leptrastrea. It definitely looks like GSP, but in micro size. It spread like GSP as well, but hardly can see the leathery base. Not sure whether it has skeleton base.

I think tweaked got it right. It is blueberry field leptrastrea to be exact. Thanks man
