Thanks for the ID. I owned a green star polyp as shown on the right side of attached picture. This hitch hiker totally look different. Does GSP have different sub species?
I could be wrong, but they can look a little different based on waterflow, chemistry and lighting conditions. At least that's how I remeber them from back in the days.

Nope. I owned green & purple gonio. The hitch hiker looks like grass, short green tentacle with white centre. I will take macro shot using DSLR tonight.
Lol. You never know.. That gsp I had stopped growing and a different strain, more metallic and no white spot, grew over top of it.. Weird stuff!

Nope. Not leptrastrea. It definitely looks like GSP, but in micro size. It spread like GSP as well, but hardly can see the leathery base. Not sure whether it has skeleton base.
