Hitchhiker Anemone id

This anemone popped out of my new live rock yesterday? Any idea?

looks like an aiptasia to me.

I thought it looked different than most aptasia I've seen but also don't have any other idea what it would be...

It seems to be open only during the night. During the day it is either completely or almost retracted.

I wish someone else would chime in... It really doesn't look like the Aiptasia that I've seen... I'm sure that doesn't mean it's not one - I just would like another couple opinions of if that's exactly what it is...

agree that it looks like aptasia..there are several types. I don't think it makes since for it to only open at night if it were a rock anemone

I don't think it's aiptasia, I have tons of similiar ones in my anemone tank. They only come out at night, and I've never gotten them id'd either. They've never gotten very big either.

I didn't think they were Aiptasia either... I have one or two and only see them occasionally...
