Oh I see below mushroom - that's a majano anemone. Similar in behavior to Aptasia. Some like them and some destroy them. I desire NOT to have them in my tank

Same kind of treatment as aptasia....I would simply remove the rock it's on for a moment cut the rock off in that spot and call it a day
