Hitchhiker hermit crab, is it safe?

I bought a few dozen snails today at the lfs, and the guy there accidently gave me a hermit crab in the bunch. His legs are blue, or any coloration from what I can tell and he's fairly small. From looking it up I think he is a Pagurus bernhardus (common hermit crab). Now I know everything differs from each individual, but generally speaking, will the corals I buy in the future be safe from this little guy?

I'd post a picture to be sure it was a common hermit, but my camera is broken

If it looks like the one on this link, its reef safe.

They stay really small and are completely reef safe and will eat algea.

PALE PINK!?! Those are maneaters! Get that out of there! No just kidding, sounds like a strawberry hermit. They are supposedly "Reef Safe" but who really knows I just think it is an opinion on the average behavior of the animal. Anybody knows though that all animals, even hermit crabs will have their own quirks and personalities. Anyway I am not here to shut you down I say live and let live see how he does and then make a descion based on expierience.

lol, well, I figure its just one hermit in a 90 gallon. We'll see how he fares
