I found this snail in a box of Indonesian LR. I was wondering what kind it is? And is it reef safe?

is it a star astria? resembles one in shape but i could be wrong

It might also be a murex. If it is, it's a carnivore. If it has a siphon like a nassarius, it would probably be bad news. You could always test it out with a piece of something meaty.

None from that page look just the way this one does. Im not sure if its a carnivore. Ill try feeding it a piece of shrimp.
