This isnt my pic but I have one exactly the same in my tank, it only comes out and night. Any Ideas?

What are you asking about? The anemone? If so, it looks like a tube anemone to me.

I see what you are talking about, itÃƒÂ¢Ã¢"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s shooting out of the rock and stuck to the glass. I have no idea what that is.

the thing on the glass looks like a Bonellid Echiuran Worm. look on www.melevsreef.com/id under worms. he has some info on them. they are reef safe.

thanks for the replys, it's just a really weird think to see. it's always in the same place, very long and thin. what do they feed on?

if its a Bonellid Echiuran Worm it eats detritus in the tank.

Yeah it is that, as I read on that site, its a detritivor. It's an interesting hitchhiker to say the least.
