i have several of these hitchhikers in my 15. I'd like to add a picture but my ex girlfriend has my camera(you know how that goes). Anyways they all different sizes the largest maybe 2 - 3 inches tentacle to tentacle. They are brown/white many tentacled attached to a brown stem. They are sensitive to changes in light flow and touch, tentacles move around a lot, sometimes they retract almost all the way to where i cant see them. Anyone know what it is, i'm assuming they are fairly common since i have three, but im a noob.

Thanks

well its not a feather duster, i have several of those. The tentacles retract seemingly into the rock, definitely not into the 'tube'.

Things like Stop Aptasia and Joes Juice if you want to do the chemical thing, natural predator is a true peppermint shrimp.

(not the bristle worm, the less in focus feather duster coming out of the rock) I have lots of those that came with rocks..

I just hope you've got the right ID before you start attacking things!

Another question i have is that most of them look like the one in the picture, but another one has much thicker tentacles, no stem, and is moving around freely from rock to rock
