Get busy living...
Here's a pic of some hitchhiker nems that came on the underside of a very nice piece of Bali-Alor live rock. There are about twenty or so under the rock and a couple of them have lately appeared on the topside of the rock now. The bases are a bright orange color and the tentacles show a translucent green color during the day. The pic was taken at night.
I haven't been able to find any ID on them and I'm curious as to what they are. I'm hoping they're not an issue as this piece of rock is home to two porcelain crabs and numerous bivalves that I don't want to lose. I have three peppermint shrimp that totally eradicated a few aptasia nems, but they're totally ignoring these.
There hasn't been any issues with these a being a pest so to speak, but I just do not want them to become a issue down the road.
Any help to ID these would be appreciated.
Thanks.
