Bought 10 pounds of live rock today. This snail came along. Any idea what it is good or bad?

Some sort of cerith snail maybe? I think most all snail hitchikers are good. You can try and post in the pic and id sticky and more people will help to ID.

Oh yea didn't see the nose until you guys said nassarius. Good deal free addition to the cuc

I just found the same snail on the underside of my lr. I wish there were more. LOL. I immediately did an amonia test. It's about 1.0... :( Nothing I can do atm because it is in cycling. I hope it survives.
 
you could dose some seachem prime in the tank. it will convert the ammonia to a less toxic form until it can be metabolized by bacteria in the tank.
 
If you haven't already you might want to post that picture in the Other Invertebrates Forum. While it may look like a Nassarius snail these usually don't hitchhike their way into our tanks that often. I would definitely see what pagojoe says just to be safe.
