Hitchiker ID Please

Can you guys and gals help ID this? It came on a piece of trumpet corals. Notice the white pinchers.

coloring looks like a coral banded shrimp. But the pictures arn't clear eough for me too really tell.

yeah, it is a crab. Hard to see what kind on the pic. Was it hairy?

I cant see it much better in person! It's stays hidden between the coral polyps. I've got a tupperware container over it in the tank now to keep it from getting to far until I positively ID it.

I'll try and get a better picture with the tripod...

If it is a crab, whats the best way to remove it? Can I dip the coral in freshwater?

It doesn't have the very damaging claws of some 'hikers. Looks more like an algae-picker. But you might want to put it in qt with one of your smaller frags until you observe it. It could be cool.

it could be a swimmer crab. looks to be reef safe but not fish safe
