Came off a bunch of Haitian LR, should he go in the Tank, the Sump, or my buddies Mantis Nano?

doesn't look hairy. Tuck him into the sump with a scrap of button polyp and see how he behaves with it.

Now that's a good test, never thought of that, he's in the sump allready, and he is hairy. Orange eyes, prob. bad, I'll keep him in there for observation.

I'd really like to know what it is. he looks like a porcelain crab(Petrolisthes spp.) by the size and coloration, though I think those have black eyes. But it's body structure is very similar to an emerald hairy looking legs smoother claws. Here are photos of a "red emerald" which looks pretty different. Which aren't perfectly reef safe, but could be ok.

I've got a FOWLR that if it's like an emerald and your not sure if you want it I'd love to have in. Find out what it is and maybe trade for a couple of mexican turbo snails?

I have to many snails for my small tanks and not enough algae. I would like to one day get a cowrie and I would like my coraline to come back stronger. I have 5 mexican turbos and should probably only have 2-3. We'll find out what it is. I'd be looking now, but I have a weeks worth of lectures to go over and HW to do and quizzes to take in less then two hours.

def not a porceline crab. They are very compressed, with large, fairly flat claws and small carapaces. Looks more xanthid to me.
