Yes. Agreed.... fishy.
Unfortunately (for the lost member), the mods have absolute power to do as they wish, fair or not.
And they like exercising that power.
It is just a bit Odd, that they ban a member that has more collective posts & responses to his threads than ANY other member on the entire forum.
You would have thought that he was a benefit to the community more than: "or in the opinion of the moderators is a detriment to the site."
The real truth is that he is now a competitor so the mods were just looking for a reason, and these actions will just drive more RC members away.

Better be walking on egg shells dv3 mods don't like you opening thread after thread once its been given the beerguy blessing. Of his post count I think 99% are "closed"

This site is all about the benjamins, not information anymore. Melev should demand every post of his is deleted and not just thread locked.

Pretty ironic statement considering that the MASC forum seems to be used only for buying and selling.
I'm talking about THIS forum on RC, that we host for you free of charge.

And i understand that but it seems like the mods seem to spend more time in this forum than any other. And it also seems that if anyone sees anything in any different light other than what the mods do its insta-ban. I understand you guys have a job to do and need to keep things civilized but how many members are gonna quit RC from all over the place before things get changed
4 years ago that number was 2500.

So instead of coming off as brash and a ******* with a comment explaining your decision to close a thread wouldnt it be better to maybe send a pm explaining your decision and then you and the person who had the infraction were on the same page and not just posting a "move on with your life comment"?
If we are mostly all adults then why dont we get spoken to as such? If you explain tyour ruling and they decide not to pay attention to it then take the next step but as you have seen before with comments like " 99% of beerguys posts are closed". Im just saying if you thought about what you were going to type and how it was going to come across there would prob be alot less issues

Being a part of the MASC forum id have to say this is not true! We have a number of people that post for More then selling! Come on beer guy have you ever been over to our site!?
Look at the first page of posts. How many of them AREN't something for sale?
