Pretty soon they'll meet on Saturdays to trade their cartoon named "little living treasures" on white plugs for temporary pleasures.
Their poor zoas don't even have time to grow/reproduce.
Most of them die even before taking over their plug.
Sorry, it's pure artificial felling and absolutely nothing to do with the original idea of the reefkeeping as a hobby. We all have to face it!
It's a relatively new thing, call whatever you want...
There are two types of reef tanks nowadays:
1) Resembling a replica of the natural environment.
2) "Fruit stand type", plug dominated tanks.
The ones waiting for that profit are the worse ones. No joy at all. Waiting forever. Pure illusion. They know that too. Many of them have already confessed.
... Pure marketing. Ugly side of the hobby. Unhappy fellows.
Truth spoken my friends, with all the respect.
Their not happy at all. Never.
They can be in their trap, specially if they don't know any better.
But never is too late to change.
Hopefully many will get the message and understand the point of reefkeeping as a hobby, not a money machine.
Grandis.
