:wavehand: to all.

ok i going to move out of my loft, into a house with 3 other. i am not going to have as much room/space for the tank so i have to take it down.

so i'm planning to set a 10g for my bedroom.

the lighting i am debating on 70watt HQI or T5's?
yes there is going to be a canopy but the room is A/C so i don't if heat is going to be an issue?

with that said. the tank will host mostly sps(mini):) lps, zoos, frogspawn, shrooms, rics, trouch and maybe a small rose anemone(how long that going to stay small).

as far as livestock goes 2 true perc clown, 1 cleaner shrimp, and clean-up crew.

i need help on the filters sump or hob?

would i need a skimmer?

if i get a sump i will set a refigum to get a way from the skimmer?

well i am totaly lost and need MUCH of you help and ADVICES..

i would love to hear everyone ideas on set-up and what i should do.

thanks kase

i just went with a HOB on my 10g
it is for a 20g freshwater tank but i took out all the old media
and replaced it with a lot of sponge and some carbon so it acts
as a 3 stage filter mostly biological
so far it has worked great (up and running for 2 months)
quiet, very cheap, and best of all everthing is healthy
i would go with that saves time and money
but its up to you

good luck with your decision :):):):)

sumps on small tanks can be a pain to drill, plumb, what have you

the aquaclear hobs make great fuges for the 10g tanks

good luck

going to use a HOB try to save money...lol

now with band do most reefer use to MOD into refgum, aquaclear? is there a better band/ filter out that beside aquaclear

i forgot about HOB, been reefing to long. don't knowif that is good or bad, dunno...:)

an other suggestion.....

i been looking around on the nano forum, i seen many, many nice tanks here..i hope you guys don't mind if i use some of you IDEAS..

thanks kase
