Hob protein skimmer

Looking for suggestions on a hob protein skimmer for a 180 gallon tank. I do not have a sump nor will I anytime soon. I can not seem to find one that even comes close. Thought about running 2 but heard that they can be hard to get to work in sync. Ideas welcome. Other than running a sump. Lol. Thanks in advance.

Lifereef makes a hang on version (exact same as their in sump model, but with a bracket). Old school venturi style rated up to 250 gal. Low maintenance, use any pump you want as long as it meets flow requirements, super easy to tune. Lots of anecdotal stories (whatever that's worth) of people replacing their Vertex, Reef Octopus, etc with them.

This will probably be my next skimmer since I can pair it with any inexpensive DC pump.
