HOB refugium

Would you use a hob refugium or mod back into the refugium? Just trying to get some opinions on it. I know I don't have a lot of room to work with on 28g jbj nano and looking at alternative options. Thanks for your time.

I Have an 24 gallon AP and use a media rack by inTank. Thats my alternative to a refugium. You can check that out, also theres the HOB Aqua Clear 70 that people mod so you get a refugium and extra surface skimming. A bunch of videos on youtube if you wanna check it out...
