HOB Skimmer

Hi all

I am starting a 65G tank, I have an ACC110 to include rock rubble and flow, as well as 2 powerheads.

Someone I know has offered me this skimmer for a good deal - is it worth it?

And, would it better to remove the AC110, and just have this protein skimmer?

I’ve never used that brand but I’ve not heard anything negative about them.

I would use both the skimmer and AC110. The AC110 gives you the additional filtration of the rock and will also give you a spot to add carbon, GFO, etc as needed. Plus, it adds more circulation.
