HOB Skimmer

Can anyone shed light on a octpus 300F HOB skimmer? I'm going with this for now just plug and play. I was considering a sump with skimmer but want to get up and running don't have tank drilled so this is just the easiest way to go for what I have.

octopus is generally a good brand. im buying an in sump skimmer though, so i dont know too much about their HOBs.

Salty Critter has one on their frag tank. It works well, especially for the money.
