Let me add that LOUD is relative and I was not working with it for long and probably not correctly. Thank goodness for the Remora C before I used the hammer.

Seriously can't someone do something with this in a DIY project sense...it doesn't leak

My cousin just started a tank and we could use this. So if pelagic7 doesn't want it we'd like it. What pump does the skimmer use? Do you have it? Does it still work? thanks.

The pump worked when I gave up on it. Pump is in the bottom and I will look at it closer this evening and let you know what it says on there. Remember it will cost you a frag LOL!
I am cheap- mushroom, zoa, etc will work just fine

I looked on the pump and it is a CA 200. A little googling later and CA is Catalina Aquatics. Hope that makes more sense to you then it does to me.
