Is any one using the HGB for a large tank.
I want to go this route on my new 280. I have dual corner overflows with 1.5" bulkheads for drains.
the standard HGB design is 1" pipe with a 1.5" "bell".
Obviously I want to upsize to 1.5" pipe...should I use 2" even though I have a 1.5" bulkhead (the way you oversize with Durso for instance)?
If I use 1.5" pipe for the standpipe what size should the "bell" be? 2"? 2.5"? 3"?
What size if I use 2" pipe.
Any help would be appreciated.
