Well I'm transferring everything into my 110g and that's when I'd like to add another angel. I'd rather add a juvi emperor, I love the transformation, plus they're cheaper and acclimate better then adults. I'm also adding an aggressive 4" purple tang. Townsends are hard to come by, its just luck. You really don't know until it grows up. Queens are only collected and found in one location as far as I'm aware. In captive care, they just don't get the coloration as they do in the wild it seems like. Yours is a blue angel, beautiful fish, could be a townsend, but definitely not a queen. Be interesting to see what it transforms into.

yeah I would be interested to see what it turns out to be. I thought there was tell-tail signs of a townsend.

I will post some videos of the passer once I can figure out to cut the video down as it is too long.

He is housed with Annularis, Emperor and Blue face amongst other fishes. In a reef type environment.

Blue face has been removed due to SEVERE aggression and now housed with Blue Angel.

A video would be nice. So your blueface got picked on by the passer, blue ring and emperor? I am really worried about my passer mostly. I wish he wasn't so big. I am going to try a smaller emperor angel, I want to see him go thru the color changes, same with a blue face or maybe blue angel. I love the changes they go thru. I'm hoping my passer isn't as aggressive, well see how he acts when I add my brothers purple tang in. Your angel could very well be a townsend, that would be great, blue angel colors with the queens crown. Keep me updated.

Will do.
IMO, and from experience, I would not recommend adding a smaller angel, those kings are nasty.

If anything, an inch or two bigger would be better. Unless you have another tank to house the new fish if something goes wrong.

I'm hoping the king isn't that bad, only time and adding fish will tell. I'd like to get a smaller angel to see it go thru the change phases. Also, my emperor loved my smaller queen, but saw the bigger gray as a threat, so he bullied the gray. I'm hoping to have the same results with the passer. We'll see, I'll keep an update, I should have the 110g up tomorrow with the passer in it, maybe the purple tang.

Ok, well my passer is now in the 110g, loving the 6ft of length! He seemed weird at first, like frantic. Flipping out, I thought something might have been wrong with him, but he's been in there for about 3 hours now and just eat a few pieces of clam. I did notice that his right eye seems to be getting a little bit of cloudy eye. Could that be because the tank is partially new? I'd say 50% was old water, 50% new. Any suggestions? Is he just stressed with the move? He has be rubbing himself against rocks now, which could be a sign of a parasite (ich). I hope he pulls through, I don't want to take him out to QT him, don't really have the room anymore for another tank. So is cloudy eye caused by stress? Does it go away on its own or will I have to treat with antibiotics?

Well I added a 3" emperor angel and a 4" chocolate tang. The passer has never been in with another fish yet, so I had no idea how he'd react. He of course showed the angel and tang that this was his home. Doesn't seem to be too aggressive, just a little bit of chasing when the fish get near his space. I'm going to give it a day or two, I have eggcrate on hand if I need to separate the passer. I know a pecking order must be established, especially in aggressive tangs, but as long as no fish gets injured, just a little chase, as should be well. Guess we'll see.

Yeah, we'll see. I'd say all isn't well yet, not bad tho either. The passer has definitely shown he's boss. It's just a matter of how he shows it (chasing fighting etc) and how long. The emperor and tang need to get used to the tank, establish territories then we'll see how it goes.

Not yet,the passer just got added the day before. But I'll see how they do over the next couple days. If it doesn't get to where I'd like it, then I'll rearrange rockwork and probablly install eggcrate. I added my brothers purple tang, he's an A hole and tried standing up to the passer, ha didn't work at all. He needed to be knocked down a peg tho. If worst comes to worse, I may have to get rid of the passer. The emperor hasn't eaten yet, he did at the store today. Well see what tomorrow brings.

Well I got good news. The emperor ate today, even picked at the algae sheet. The passer seems to be more calm today. Everyone is getting used to one another. The purple tang is kinda bossy, but he gets owned by the passer. I'll still keep a close eye on the fish, and I am feeding several times a day with lots of algae sheets to reduce stress. I need to get my new skimmer, looking into the new Extreme 250, very similar to the bubble king, but half the cost. It just isn't out yet.
