I got a BTA Anemone around 3 weeks ago. Seemed to be having a hard time acclimating to the lights in my tank. I have a 90 Gal, Nova extreme 8 bulb t-5 setup. He would hide in the rocks during the day and climb at night. Unfortunately one night he got into one of the power heads. I had screens on it too. It actually seemed to get burned on the side of the power head.
After that incident it looked like the bottom of the foot was falling apart. 2 days ago I came home and he was completely deflated and had a hole right through the center the size of a quater. I took him out of my tank and put him into a quarentine tank. under pc lights. I thought he was dead for sure. The last couple of days he has looked better than at any time.
Last night I fed him a silverside and he ate it immediately. I don't know how he could eat without a stomach. He is on the sand in the corner of the tank so I can not see his foot any more.
I guess my question is can he heal himself or is it just a matter of time. The tank has been set up for nearly 6 years. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
