Hole in leather coral

I have a lime green toadstool leather that has grown from a 1 inch frag to almost huge.
It has developed a hole in it and I am not sure I should be concerned about it.
Any ideas?

It's probably just reproducing. When this happens they'll develop holes like this and eventually the tissue will fall off.
