Hole In Paly

A couple days ago I noticed one of my raptor rainbow polyps wasn't looking so good. I decided to inspect it today and noticed a hole near the top of the closed polyp. I've noticed a big pod increase over the past week, since my tank is only around 7 weeks old with no fish. Could pods be responsible for this? I've never seen this problem before.

at only 7 weeks old what are your tank specs. Little early for most corals.

Parameters are spot on. Those palys have been in my tank for 6 weeks now and just now one polyp started to look irritated. I think it has to be due to pods.

They are probaly there to clean up if it´s dying

Not entirely true. Large amphipods are known polyp eaters, IME they usually munch on the skirts though.
