Hole in SPS

I have a hole in an SPS coral that doesnt look like anything I have seen before. There is flow in and out of it as if it is breathing. Is this an issue?

I really don't know what that is exactly, but a sharp pair of scissors or some bone cutters will solve that problem with the quickness IMO. Prune it... GL.

Could be a barnacle. Does a feather or fan looking thing pop in and out? If so totally harmless. I have a few in different corals.

I havn't seen anything come out of it yet. I do think I will prune it if it survives. This was an order from LA DD. This particular coral has severely bleached and I will be surprised if it makes it. The other two in the order are doing very well and are regaining their color.

Thanks
