hole saw questions

I am finally getting underway with the upgrade to the 75 and ordered 6 bulkheads. 2-2" for corner overflows and 4 - 3/4" for returns. According to the place I got them I need a 1.5" and a 3" hole saw. According to my calculations I need a 38.1mm saw for the 3/4" and I need a 76.2mm for the 2". Here are my questions
Does anyone have a 40mm diamond hole saw I could borrow?
and is 80mm the right size for the 2" bulkhead and if so does anyone have one of those I could borrow also?
Thanks

I have a 45mm, that is for a 1". Why didn't you go 1" and then reduce it to 3/4? That is what I did.

I to have a saw for a 1” bulkhead and just ordered an 80MM for 2” bulkheads. You are welcome to use them…….. however if you break your tank, it is not my fault!!!!!

We drilled 1" and 3/4 but have not done any 2"---I do have a glass grinder that could be use to go from a 1" to a 2" if needed. It works great-

I finally got my bulkheads from Dr F&S and found out the size recommendations are for the largest recommended hole. I will be stopping by Lowes later for a set of Calipers to be sure but it looks like I actually want a 35mm and a 75mm.

I went with the 3/4" because with 4 returns that would be a bunch of reducers and I will be using two return pumps and everything in the area of GPH I want is 3/4" output.

Definately will get the best fit with 35 and 75mm but 5mm isn't that big a difference. :)

Anybody know where I can find a pair of 2.5" FPT street L? My overflow bulkheads are only threaded on the outside and I didn't know that 2.5" is not carried by your local Home Despot or Lowes.
Or have any suggestions on how to impermanently (but without leaks) attach a 2" slip elbow?

Should I be planning for hard pipe or clear vinyl pipe?
I'm going to be drilling the back of a 75 for two corner overflows and 4 returns (two under the Calfo overflow boxes and two in between them) with scwd's. But the scwds will go across the tank, each one running one low return and the far side high return.
Thanks

Cool. Next time I am up I will bring one of the bulkheads and see how it fits.

What about what kind of piping i should use on the back, or does it matter? I though I remember hearing you shouldn't use hard pipe as it can lead to cracks.
