Hole size

What is the proper sized hole to drill for a bulkhead that accepts 1" ID PVC pipe? Will a 1.75" hole be correct? Anyone have a spare 1" bulkhead?

Got the answer... looks like for a 1" slip fit bulkhead the hole size range from 1 5/8" to 2 1/8". heres a link if anyone else needs this info:

When I was talking to John Roppel last weekend, he told me that bulkheads are readily available and cheaper than aquarium supply places if you simply go to a marina! Makes sense, boaters have a lot of reasons to move water out of one spot and into another. I sure intend to try that approach, as I have a lot of trouble figuring out what the diagrams and shorthand on the webpages mean, I want to hold the thing and look at it.
