Alright, I could've sworn that I looked for the Premium Aquatics sponsor forum, lol guess I missed it. I have been complaining about slow shipping of my light fixture to Aquactinics when I could have been complaining to both, jeez, my bad.

Ordered the Tx5 48" on the 7th with 5 cool bulbs and the last email my wife received (from Josh Vetter (great response times and good customer service btw)) said maybe a couple more weeks, and that was on the 13th! ouch..

I've got more stuff to order, but am hesitant

If I receive them by the end of this week (knocks on wood) that'll make it 2 1/2 weeks.

Is this normal for shipping to my area? Maybe direct/drop shipping from the company would expedite.

i ordered my tx5 from them as well and got it promptly, but this was way before they became in demand.

Two more things, PA doesn't have the fixture in stock it is shipped directly from the manufacturer (well at least thats how I received mine) and second theres been a back order on these fixtures (due to high demands) and looks like they are starting to fill the back order.

seriously though the wait is worth it.

ok, good news, hopefully they ship factory direct.

But it would've been nice to know before buying, if the product was in stock. I probably don't know where to look, but at another site instead of clicking the buy button you would click the back order button if it wasn't in stock.

would of been nice if it said out of stock, instead of buy button i ordered my light october 19th and still don't have it. i ordered a 48" tx5 fixture. Now aquactinic raised prices up 100 bucks on tx5 fixtures and probally 200 bucks or better on constellation. Sorry but constellation is not worth 900+ bucks and don't even come with bulbs or riser brackets. I would agree with price on tx5 if it came with bulbs and riser brackets.

Hi Guys,

Sorry about these delays with the Aquatinics. We were having them dropshipped direct from the factory and they were shipping in 1-2 days, but they did get overwhelmed and started building them as fast as possible.

We should of marked them out of stock, this was lazy on my part. We have to manually update the website and I just didn't get it updated in time and had already had quite a few orders come through.

We are now going to stock the hoods at our warehouse, ecxept for the 72" model, which just doesn't ship super easy, so better to dropship that model. So any existing orders were shipped from factory, any new orders from today would ship from our place once our pallet arrives.

They did have a price increase, which is unfortunately but necessary sometimes. The cost of metal and price of gas I'm sure had something to do with it. I've never seen so many price increases in one year before, it's pretty much every manufacture.

We can honor the old price on any orders placed this week and shipped from our pallet order coming, or any orders placed this week at the new higher price, and dropshipped from the factory, we can throw in FREE T5 lamps, as part of a factory promo they are having this week to help offset that price increase.
