homemade bowfront canopy

I built a canopy for my 36 gal. bowfront. Anyone have any suggestions on anything I can do to make it look or work better?

I think it looks great from what I can tell. How does it open? from the top front?

i actually did not make an opening lid on it, i did on my 29 gal and found that it was easier to just feed them by dropping the food on th outflow of the filter and just lifting the canopy off if i need to add livestock, change water, etc.. with the added height of the canopy i cant reach inside anyways

I know exactly what you mean. I have a 16" high canopy on my 90. I slide it back for feeding and minor in tank cleaning.
