Homemade Live Rock?

I have just attempted my first batch of homemade live rock and it was fairly easy to do. I was just wondering if anyone had any cool ideas on how to make some more realistic shapes. And what is the best way to seed the rock. And just any general opinions and or concerns. Thanks in advance.

I have just made some also. Use different type of plastic pipes and tubings to run through the LR. Make caves. Make holes in LR for coral placement. Make as many holes in LR as you can because you want more surface area on the rocks than anything else. Peace.

I used sand that was slightly wetted to create a form for my LR and kind og topped it about a spoonful at a time to make it mroe realistic. I saw some picture sof this technique that were helpful. I believe if you search for aragocrete and GARF you should be able to find the page about making LR that is helpful.
