Hooking ozone to reef octopus NWB 110

I'm wondering where/ how to hook ozone to a reef octopus NWB 110. The air intake has 2 tubes. If I run a line to the air intake do I need to block the second intake tube or leave it open ? I won't be pumping the ozone in I will be letting the skimmer draw it in. Does anyone have this skimmer with ozone hooked to it ?? Thanks !

Ideally you want to hook the ozone directly up to the skimmer venturi if it has 2 hose barbs. Otherwise you can hook it up to the muffler, but that can cause issues further down the road with the tubing becoming brittle. If you hook it up to the muffler, open the second hole for fresh air as well, you don't want to be feeding your skimmer just ozone.

What will happen if you feed your skimmer just ozone?

The second vent hole is for ozone on reef octopus skimmers just use silicone hose and you will be fine, in my experience the skimmer cant draw enough air just threw the ozone generator.

I use an Ozotech model with a SRO-5000
