Hopin to ID crab....

Hey all,

I was trying to remove some of the millions of mushrooms in my tank and came across this recently shedded claw. There were a pair and some legs as well. So the thing is getting bigger. I have never seen it, but need to know if I should try to track and remove it or if it is safe in the tank.

The ones with the black tips on their claws are supposed to be the nasty meat eaters. Or so I've heard.....

Try to take him out if you can, later on he will do some damage. This crab love to munch on hairy acros. clams, new growth on montis. and acros., love to eat 'em. I guess coz its soft and yummy. ................PEACE
