Hoping to ID this hitchhiker

Found this little guy about a week ago. Have seen it on the glass and it appears to be a snail. It's hard to get a good pic right now cuz it's about 3mm in diameter and about as tall. It has these very tiny white "feelers" and moves faster than it looks. I remember many years ago when i had a freshwater aquarium, some types of snails would get out of control in terms of numbers - anyone know if I should let this stay in the tank or not? Thanks in advance!

Looks like a trochus snail to me. Hard to tell from pic though... google to confirm.

Its rare for snails to become a nuisance in salt. Most will breed but their numbers usually stabilize according to tank size. I wouldnt worry about him. Free clean up crew!
